User Reviews

Reviews are mixed. Many players praise Questy Quest for its simple, addictive tapping and cute visuals, and note it can sharpen reflexes while serving as a casual time filler. However a substantial number of reviewers criticize heavy advertising and monetization, repetitive level design with little strategic depth, and various glitches or performance issues that hinder progress. A few mention privacy prompts or platform quirks. Overall, it’s appealing for casual play but problematic for longer sessions due to monetization pressure and quality concerns.
Pros
  • Easy to learn and highly addictive casual gameplay
  • Improves reflexes and hand–eye coordination
  • Cute art style and pleasant visuals
  • Works well as a quick, low-effort time filler
Cons
  • Ad-heavy experience with frequent monetization and pay-to-progress
  • Gameplay feels repetitive and lacks depth or exploration
  • Stability issues and glitches (lag, crashes, control quirks)

Where to start about this hastily-made cash-grab? The idea of tapping 3 seconds apart, and then 1/2-sec all of a sudden isn’t fun, it’s just shallow. Seriously, this game has less depth than Pong because that’s 2-dimensional. The game says to check out their other games like “Charming Runes” (not available), “Charming Keep” (not available), or their website is still trying to plug “Disney Crossy Road” (which was famously cancelled by Big Mouse). Or if you want to post a pic of your hero after level 10, you’re asked if you want to allow access to your pics (uh, no!), and if you say “don’t allow access, the game crashes. Or if you’re asked to join their newsletter, saying “yes” takes you to their website that merely gives an error saying “AccessDeniedAccess DeniedV2XFZ9RJWKR6824TUrpB/MNjaSD2dG5Z1EIPTv+ibfBMes9NapdT6sri0jrS87/2GhN1996yeP8NfQsZIIdT9P8Oqis=“ “ … so I guess they don’t want customers? It’s an unpolished 6-year-old game that doesn’t work, has been forgotten by Mighty Games, and has 100 better options where fast-twitch reactions make more sense. Seriously, you CAN do better than this.🤣

...but that’s OK because it’s pretty boring and you’ll only play it briefly. Forces you to a portrait orientation for no reason. iPad Pro owners are unsupported. You just keep tapping and tapping (and tapping!) without any exploration or strategy or interesting game dynamics. There’s no map, no choices of where to go, no strategic posture. Each enemy is a random mashup of fantasy elements with a random title/name. Their equipment or species makes no difference to the game. There are no tactics for facing different enemies. You just tap, tap, tap, tap. Seriously, after three days of casual playing each quest required 240-320 consecutive taps (I was bored enough to count)—with no dodging, no maneuver, no tactics...and a 30 second ad in the middle if I missed a target (often just a “tap here to download” graphic pulsating as a clock counts down my penalty time remaining)...then I might have to tap 26 times to watch 13 seizure-inducing jittery animations of rewards from the quest. Basically, there is no game play. Also, why is the game mechanic designed to make me look away from the graphics? Why animate characters I can’t look at? Then it flashes a useless wanted poster on the screen...again and again. This game PUNISHES you with ads when you do poorly. Isn’t that fun? And the game is constantly asking you for money or showing you ads. It’s frustrating...which is just what I want from a game. It has the stupid “wait and wait and come back often if you want the next level” scheme...alongside an “earn coins because we will make you spend them to get the next quest (yes, you PAY to bring in a wanted criminal?? It’s like when you get an email from a Nigerian prince who has a quest to offer you, if you pay up front.)...oh, you can’t earn coins fast enough? We can sell them to you” -THAT scheme. Classy. Of course, every level is exactly like the last (tap, tap, tap, tap, tap), so why do I need to buy another quest? Even though I wrote a review, the game is constantly interrupting me and nagging me for a rating. So, I add a new paragraph every time. Annoying. Did I mention it keeps prompting me for reviews? It’s hard to describe just how bad this is.
