With the Soehnle Connect app for the Soehnle Scales, Fitness Trackers, Blood Pressure Monitors and Air Purifier you have the convenience of capturing all your physical measurements and trend analyses on your iOS smartphone. Users see potential in Soehnle Connect—the concept to track measurements and to sync with Apple Health, plus the scale hardware, are positives. However, the app is plagued by critical issues: height cannot be corrected, data between app and scale diverge, syncing fails, units and language options are limited, and support is unresponsive. Until these are fixed, the app undermines the value of the otherwise solid scale.

Pros

Solid app concept to track measurements and integrate with Apple Health.
Scale hardware is high quality and generally accurate, enabling reliable data when the app works.
Simple, straightforward app design with a good underlying idea.

Cons

Height cannot be corrected; it defaults to 27 inches in some cases, leading to invalid BMI scores.
Data in the app and on the scale diverge and profiles cannot be easily erased; syncing is unreliable.
Units and language options are limited (English-only units; no metric switch; no language toggle).
Bluetooth syncing issues and occasional crashes prevent reliable data transfer from the scale to the app.
Poor or nonexistent customer support (US support lacking; slow or absent responses).

Recent reviews

The app asks for your height in “in” and if you enter it in inches it does for some reason default to 27. And your BMI gets >100 But it makes it worse by also changing the height on your scale and all bio measurements regarding fat, water, muscle proportions become useless on the scale as well. I’m using the scale without the app so I’m not able to track my weight nor any other measurements. Very disappointing.

i bought this scale (which is an excellent product) primarily because of the App so that I can connect and integrate with my other fitness Apps in Apple Health. Well Bluetooth does not connect and the App will not synch. The App is not intuitively designed, difficult to navigate and it insists on English units without the ability to switch to metric. Also I would prefer to switch between English and German (I live in Austria) but there is no toggle to switch languages. Per the App I am 175 in tall rather then 175cm (the unit is given as „in“ and not „cm“ as responded to in another comment ). The scale without the App is a very nice device. Fix the App … my toothbrush is literally smarter.

The app doesn’t record the information from the scale. So there is no way to keep track of your stats. No support in the US, this product does not do what it’s marketed and sold as.
