UMANG

UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) brings central, state, and local government services to citizens on a single mobile-first platform. Developed by MeitY and NeGD, it enables access to e-Gov services across channels—app, web, SMS, and IVR—with seamless integration to Digital India services like Aadhaar, DigiLocker, and PayGov. The platform is designed to be secure, scalable, and easy to discover and use, offering a uniform experience across departments.

Benefits include single-point access to healthcare, finance, education, housing, energy, agriculture, transport, and more; a single app for numerous services; offline/online access; encryption-based protection of sensitive data; and consistent, multi-channel service delivery for citizens.
