User Reviews

Traitors Empire blends deck-building with tactical RPG and community events, earning praise for its deep mechanics, engaging story, and fair non-P2W approach. Players celebrate strategic combat, crafting, and campaign content, plus optional ads for currency and a robust event system. However, server reliability, grind-heavy progression, and imbalanced raids/PvP detract from otherwise strong gameplay. The clan system can gate solo play, and some users feel monetization is intrusive. Overall, a ambitious, rich title with significant pacing and stability challenges but lasting appeal for fans of strategy-card hybrids.
Pros
  • Strong blend of collectible card game mechanics with tactical, turn-based strategy for deep, varied gameplay.
  • Engaging campaign and story with RPG elements and crafting puzzles.
  • Non pay-to-win monetization; content accessible without spending; microtransactions mostly speed up progression.
  • Active community features and events that provide ongoing engagement beyond solo play.
  • Ads are optional and provide in-game currency; premium features unlock extra content without being required.
Cons
  • Persistent server issues, including slow logins, crashes, and long loading times.
  • Grind-heavy progression with slow leveling and endgame content that can feel repetitive.
  • Raid matchmaking and PvP balance can be unfair or frustrating due to random ally selection and overpowered opponents.
  • Clan system can gate events and pressure solo players; poor fit for those who prefer single-player play.
  • Some players perceive monetization as intrusive or pay-to-win.

Traitors Empire provides a fascinating blend of tactical RPG and community events that have kept me returning for years. An intriguing story, deep gameplay that combines crafting and mini-puzzles, and challenges the player to find unique solutions to shifting scenario requirements. I wish the author would continue chapter releases!

It’s a combination of a collectible card game and a 2d strategy game. Incredibly well-balanced between the two. The campaign story is compelling as well. Micropayments are how you pay, and unlike most micropayments games this one isn’t out to get you to spend a lot. You can have a lot of fun and aren’t barred from any content whether you pay or not for the most part. Most of the purchasable products help speed up progression, not pay to win. This game is truly special.

Overall the game and its mechanics are very well thought out. The strategy and gameplay make for a fun experience. I would give 5 stars, but for the Raids. You get 3 players semi-randomly drawn to choose from. Often all 3 are beyond your level or progression and have every advantage. Then to make matters worse, you draw none of the cards from your deck that would even things out. Meanwhile your opponent gets every heavy hitting card to destroy you without breaking a sweat.
