Kanji Ryokucha is a flashcard-based spaced repetition client for Kanji Koohii. It lets you draw kanji on the card fronts, see readings on the back, and view stroke-order videos when available from KanjiAlive. You can also access the Kanji Koohii study pages during reviews and use a guest mode for quick practice. The app offers a Study Phase to manage which items are restudied, and supports free study sessions with arbitrary kanji ranges. When you log in, your progress syncs across devices, including iPhone/iPad and the Kanji Koohii site. Note: it’s not a site replacement; you can jump to Safari from study pages for full management.

I seriously would not get through remembering the kanji book without this app. The spaced review is great and their website has so many great stories to help me and my middle schooler remember each figure. It has been more fun than I thought. I am not sure why this is free?

Just reading the book, I couldn’t remember how to write kanji. This app and the website really help me to remember. Especially the feature of the app that enable to write out kanji before flipping to check is huge help! Thank you for creating this app!
