QhIC

The Queensland Housing Inspection Checklist (QhIC) app has been developed exclusively for use by Queensland community housing providers when conducting regular property inspections. It is essential department-owned properties are kept in good repair and condition for the safety of tenants. This app gives providers an easy way to record property information, including whether property features:

• record details of the property being inspected, date of inspection, inspector’s name and type of inspection
• ability to select yes, no or n/a on whether property features being inspected are compliant
• add comments to provide extra detail
• can be used without connecting to the internet
• save and submit later when internet service is available
• completed inspection is sent in MS Excel format to account holder’s nominated email address.
