User Reviews

Overall, users praise Titan-FireFly for ease of use, strong support, music integration, and long-range WiFi operation, with many leveraging the QR sharing feature. However, repeated issues include data loss after updates or switches, connectivity/ pairing problems across devices, and stability bugs like freezes. The positive feedback highlights responsive support and ongoing updates, while reliability and data-safety concerns remain the main drawbacks that reviewers hope to see addressed in future releases.
Pros
  • Excellent customer support and developer responsiveness (notably Kevin)
  • Easy to use and intuitive UI; kid-friendly
  • Strong music synchronization and the ability to import tracks for shows
  • WiFi-based system offers much longer range than Bluetooth for wireless operation
  • Easy saving/sharing of shows via QR codes and cross-device sharing
Cons
  • Shows and cues can be lost or disappear after updates or when switching apps (data loss)
  • Connectivity and pairing issues across devices (GT2404-A1, iPad/iPhone) and errors like 'lines not connected'
  • App freezes/crashes or gets stuck on a screen, impacting control during shows
  • Music track submission constraint (initially required to submit to firing devices; later addressed in updates)

I can’t even get a show completed, because every time I switch apps to do something, tighten Firefly clears all my work and starts over at the WARNING screen! I’ve been shooting fireworks off for almost 6 decades. I don’t need to be warned every time I open the goddamn app. 😡 Two extra stars for developer being available for actual human to human chat. Maybe we can work this mess out. In the meantime, I guess this is 1982 again , where you have to SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE your work, or LOSE IT! 😝

Though you can now create and share a show without music, you still need a music track to submit it to the firing devices. In a panic with many people hoping for the show to start I couldn’t get my show to work. So I add a 6-minute audio track to my 18-minute show. They seemed to allow me to submit so I go back and add the same audio track 2 more times. Submit the show, and all cues after that first song were gone, requiring me to manually fire the show for after the 6-minute mark. I really feel like music is just tech debt to this app and causes multiple problems in multiple ways. Also you can rename your cues but they are not saved when shared. It would be great to allow me to save shows using iCloud storage so I can create a show on my Mac, but use my phone to submit it.

This product has worked well in the past. But My GT2404-A1 won’t pair with the updated app! Help!
