Reviewers commonly praise Netro for reliable operation, simple setup, and good weather-data integration from multiple providers. However, pervasive issues drag down the experience: frequent crashes, repeated login prompts, a redesigned, confusing UI that obscures manual controls, lack of watering alerts, and harder manual activation of zones. Overall, stability and UX improvements, plus better notifications, would address the most cited pain points while preserving the solid core features.

App stability issues: crashes and freezing (spinning dots) especially when changing settings or opening the app
Frequent login/authentication prompts requiring re-logging each time
Confusing, redesigned UI/UX that hides or moves core controls (manual mode, zone status) and makes it hard to tell which zone is running
Lack of push notifications for watering events (start/stop alerts)
Difficult manual control / running zones due to new app layout

Recent reviews

The app only stores 23 days of data. I mean it’s okay and at least it isn’t super China, but I would expect some better historical data and some connections to other brand watering devices like orbit or rainbird at the very least. It’s pretty good for ultra dry climates, but it could be better.

It works very well.User interface can be better,more iOS friendly.More weather providers can be added for users to choose from,for example,apple’s own weather api.
