The android OS version of this app came with a Versus Option, where you would play against other players around the world, one on one. This incentivized playing/learning/practicing and made devoting time to this app much easier and more fun, because of the competition style aspect. Also being able to multiply 38*34 in your head (1292) while others in the meeting are rushing for their phone’s calculator is pretty satisfying too.

This is truly an outstanding app. More than worth the cost. Using this on a regular basis and find myself slapping my head. But I am getting better at math. Not from slapping my head, but rather from doing the challenges. There is an outstanding training section on techniques for various factors, along with an entire list for multiplication and division. This can be frustrating at first. But it does get you better at math. The techniques for breaking down numbers to do multiplication and division are very clever. There are some I had not seen anywhere before. They are really worth taking the time to try. There are various challenges and different modes. Try the one called To the bitter end. You have 20 seconds to do a problem. It might sound like enough time, but you will be challenged. Very highly recommend.

I’m really enjoying the game, but recently have had a problem. My total score is going down (there’s a little minus sign in front of the total score) and with every problem I solve it goes down by one. What’s the fix?
