User Reviews

Reviews praise the nostalgic RTS feel and classic vibe, and many call it the best RTS on mobile with hope for updates. However, pervasive bugs, frustrating controls/UI, and progression problems hinder play. Some cite unreliable saves and the removal of the map editor, plus resource/AI issues. Despite flaws, fans love the core RTS experience and urge ongoing development and new content for modern devices.
Pros
  • Nostalgic RTS feel reminiscent of Dune 2000 / Command & Conquer.
  • Strong core RTS gameplay that fans view as among the best on mobile.
  • Positive reception and willingness to see continued development and future updates.
  • Fans express genuine love for RTS and appreciation for the nostalgic experience.
Cons
  • Widespread bugs and glitches that can render the game unplayable.
  • Frustrating controls and UI, especially for selecting multiple units and issuing orders; bottom menu access on iOS is problematic.
  • Progression issues: hard or impossible missions, unreliable saves, and unreadable hints.
  • Map editor removed / lack of custom maps and future content.
  • AI/resource management issues, such as harvesters misbehaving and auto-select draining resources.

Totally unplayable and the numbnut wasn’t smart enough to add ‘zoom’! Sad generations. Oh, and since they are not smart enough to make Apple’s ‘scroll up’ bar go away, you can’t access any menu items on the bottom of the screen. Nitwits.

I’m a huge fan of the regular command and Conquerer type of games. So it was cool to see this game be a bit similar to those types of games. The controls are decent but at times the controls can very difficult to use. Especially when I’m done with using some of my units and then I’ll press on the x to cancel using them. But sometimes they’ll still be assigned to it and then I’ll have to press the x again to cancel them. Also whenever I build multiple barracks, war factory’s, or ore collector buildings in other areas around the map it doesn’t seem like any of the units come out of the new buildings that I made for them. They just keep coming out of the original buildings that I have. And I can’t seem to figure out how to assign them to the new buildings that I made for them to use. It would be nice if we could tap on the building and make it as the new primary building or something. And also whenever I have troops or tanks set up in random places while I’m doing something else the enemy will come by and attack my units, and my units will just sit there and get destroyed rather then defending themselves freely. And the only way that they’ll attack the enemy back is if I assign them myself to attack them. Which is dumb. And then some other thing that is annoying is whenever I save my gameplay, it doesn’t seem like it actually saves it all the time or if it does save it, it’ll be while I’m still in the app menu screen, but once I close the app and play the app some other time, my gameplay save isn't there anymore. But other than those few things, the game is decent.
