User Reviews

Puppr is praised for clear, well-structured lessons, effective training results, and convenient at-home use, with a usable built-in clicker. Many users, however, cite consistent concerns about paywalls and high subscription costs, limited free content, and missing community features that once allowed comments. Some also report negative trainer interactions. Overall, the app is valuable for actionable training, especially for beginners, but its value hinges on willingness to pay for premium content and tolerance for reduced social features.

Pros

Clear, organized lessons with videos and step-by-step explanations that are easy to follow and train at home at your own pace.
Effective training results: dogs learn tricks, improve obedience, and bonding with multiple dogs is supported.
Built-in clicker and user-friendly navigation with readable text; easy to use for both owner and dog.
Some content is free or accessible without premium, making it easy to start learning.
Trainer responses are helpful and reasonably quick when available.

Cons

Much of the most useful content is behind a premium paywall; subscriptions are expensive and content is limited unless you pay.
Removal of the community features (comments) and reduced social interaction; many users miss the dialogue and support from others.
Inconsistent or negative trainer interactions in chat, with some experiences feeling unhelpful or disrespectful.
Limited breadth of content (brief videos and basic tutorials) compared to the price; free alternatives exist elsewhere.

Your app is awesome 🤩

I really enjoy this app. I haven’t had a puppy in years so this has helped a lot. I do think that there needs to be more socialization sections for young puppies. Especially, for future SDs or for people who want to take their dogs out to pet friendly places and doing activities of dog sports. Other than that this is the perfect app for pet owners.
