Features & Capabilities

The Samsung Family Hub extension is designed for Samsung Family Hub refrigerators running TIZEN 4.0 or earlier. On devices with TIZEN 6.0 and above, the legacy Family Hub app is no longer supported; please use the SmartThings app instead. Photos and videos can be uploaded via the Family Hub device card, while food-related features such as View Inside, Recipe Recommendation, Meal Planner, Shopping List, and Food List are now available through SmartThings Cooking.

Permissions: Required Access - Contacts (used to link your Samsung account). Optional Access - Microphone (for Memo and Whiteboard) and Storage (to enable cloud-connected photo/video sharing). Optional permissions are off by default; enabling them unlocks additional features.

We have a smart fridge and this app is what’s needed to load pictures ect. This app hasn’t worked in a really long time, it open and immediately shuts on its own.
