User Reviews

Trader Trainer is seen as a simple, price-action focused simulator that some users find easy to start and useful for basic practice. However, most reviews focus on negatives: a shift from free to paid subscriptions, intrusive ads, and a less favorable interface after updates. Critics also question its educational value, citing unrealistic data and a lack of multiple timeframes or stop-loss features. Overall, pricing and usability concerns dominate the feedback.
Pros
  • Easy to start and straightforward to use with no fluff.
  • Focused on price-action concepts, giving a simple training routine.
  • Allows quick practice of setups and pacing with chart-speed control.
  • Ads are short and skippable, reducing disruption for some users.
Cons
  • Subscription required; free version ended; price increase.
  • Ads interruptions and the desire for an ad-free option remain a pain for many.
  • Interface and visuals were criticized after updates (hard to distinguish candle parts, goofy layout).
  • Not a learning tool; data are not realistic; offline game; not teaching real trading; randomized.
  • Limited features: only a single timeframe and no stop-loss or order controls.
Recent reviews
I got this a few years back and used it a lot I even paid the previous fee- lifetime option that removed ads and went about my life. I recently opened it again to share with a family member and there’s now a subscription model, I can’t restore my initial purchase and they want to charge. $10 a month for something I already had and used. Don’t let them take your money just to force you to buy something else again. Better options out there.

Why are you charging the best part was that it was free. Accessible to anyone and everyone who wanted to learn. Why are you charging? For what reason? Did you sold your company?
