The Monster Zone control app is largely criticized for reliability and missing features. Repeated issues include failed pairing/recognition, unresponsive and outdated UX, and limited controls (no EQ, inputs, or multi-speaker pairing). Standby behavior and poor ongoing support (broken help pages, few updates) worsen the experience. A small number of users still praise zone control capabilities and even call the app 'Great app!', but these positives are far outweighed by the consistency of connectivity and usability problems.

Zone control app is a plus for managing multiple Bluetooth speakers, including control of light colors and sound levels to set ambiance.
When connected via Bluetooth, playback works and the speaker reportedly sounds good.

Recent reviews

It works, but it's clunky and doesn't have a ton of features. It would be nice to see controls for the microphone added, and the volume buttons are either MAX or OFF, which is silly. For bass, and treble, you can adjust stepwise using those buttons. Why not for volume? These seem like easy upgrades. Please make them happen.
