Euchre the way it gets played at the kitchen table. Four players, two teams, ten points to win, and a jack that outranks the ace.

You and your partner sit across from each other against two opponents. Someone names trump, everyone plays five cards, and taking three tricks takes the hand. Take all five and it is a march. Think your hand is strong enough on its own, go alone and play it out for four.

Every game is stick the dealer. If the bidding comes back around and nobody has called, the dealer has to pick a suit. Nobody talks their way out of a bad hand.

THREE OPPONENTS WORTH PLAYING Easy leads its best card and hopes. Medium bids sensibly and covers its partner. Hard keeps track of what has been played, saves the right trump for the trick that decides the hand, and knows when your partner has already won it.

PLAY WITH PEOPLE Invite a friend through Game Center, or take a quick match and get seated with whoever else is looking for a game. Any seat nobody claims is filled at the table, so a hand always plays out.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND A LEADERBOARD Fourteen achievements, from your first win to going alone and taking all five tricks. Achievement Points are weighted by difficulty, so a win on Hard is worth more than a win on Easy. They can also go down. A bad night shows up on the leaderboard like everything else.

YOUR SEAT Pick a name and a face, or use the ones from your Game Center account. Sound and haptics are yours to turn off. The rules and the scoring are written out in the app, for learning the game or for settling an argument about it.

IPHONE AND IPAD The table is laid out for the device it is on rather than scaled up from a phone. On iPad it spreads into the extra room and plays in any orientation.

NO ADS, NO CATCH The whole game is free. No ads, no timers, no card packs, nothing held back. There is a tip jar if you feel like throwing something in, and it buys you exactly nothing.
