User Reviews

The iOS app for Incident IQ is consistently criticized for instability and poor performance. Recurrent issues include crashes/on-load failures, the need to uninstall/reinstall, and updates that break the app. Users also report limited mobile functionality versus the web, login/navigation problems, and general responsiveness issues, with some iOS-version compatibility concerns. Overall, reliability and feature parity are the primary pain points.
Pros
Cons
  • App frequently crashes or won’t launch, getting stuck on the loading screen.
  • Requires uninstalling and reinstalling; updates often break the app or reset state.
  • Limited functionality compared to the web version; core tasks like assigning, commenting, or resolving tickets are hard or unavailable.
  • Compatibility/updates issues with iOS versions; the app downloads its own internal update and can fail after iOS updates, leading to a white screen or launch failure.
  • Navigation and responsiveness problems (delays, not responding, sign-out loops, or unstable data visibility).

It breaks every few weeks without fail and the only fix is reinstall which is a hassle mid busy day. Search works only if you know the exact serial number or asset tag or username etc. such a clunky and broken app to use

Has extremely limited features compared to the web version. When requesting features to be added to the app I am told just to use the web version on my phone by tech support and dev team. Half the time I open the app it says that there is a critical update that needs to be installed, I click okay, it says I’m actually up to date and then goes back to the need an update page for a never ending loop (been going on for years). The only fix I have found when it does this is to reinstall the app entirely. If you want a helpdesk with a good app I would recommend fresh service or fresh desk
