However, many users report critical reliability problems: Bluetooth connectivity failures, unstable pairing, and poor app performance after updates; music sync is limited or nonfunctional; hardware components like remotes and sensors can fail to pair; and some features (modes, dimming) regress. UI issues and navigation are mentioned but secondary. Overall, it works when it connects but reliability is a major obstacle.

App work absolutely fine for several years until upgraded to iPhone 17 Pro Max. Now sees lights but gets connection time out. Happens on three different phones or other devices work fine.
