User Reviews

Reviewers praise the visuals, sound, and replayable, strategic TD gameplay, plus ongoing updates. However, many cite a pay-to-win monetization model, imbalanced higher levels, frequent crashes, and maintenance concerns that undermine progress. Overall, the game is visually impressive and engaging, but marred by monetization and stability issues.
Pros
  • Stunning graphics, sound, and visual effects (photo-realistic battlefields and sharp explosions).
  • High replay value and long, engaging play sessions with constant battles and no farming mechanics.
  • Deep, strategic tower-defense gameplay with varied defense configurations that keep you learning.
  • Active developer support and regular content updates/new levels.
  • Polished presentation with a strong UI and an overall addictive experience.
Cons
  • Pay-to-progress: progress often requires coin purchases, making it feel like a money grab and unfair.
  • Imbalanced difficulty: higher levels are very hard and progression is blocked unless you spend money.
  • Stability issues: frequent crashes and data loss after updates, forcing reinstall or causing progress loss.
  • Slow upgrades and reliance on coins to replenish health or upgrade towers, hindering early levels.
  • Maintenance/compatibility concerns: some users feel the game is no longer well-supported with scarce updates and ongoing issues.

Amazing game for the tablet. I play it for hours the graphics, sound tracks, explosions are simply the most entertaining sharp effects. DFZ has a beautiful photo realism from the God point of view of cool battlefields to defend. I have played all the earlier versions and they are all still valid and fun. The replay value on such inexpensive, masterfully engineered games is very high. The games are difficult and fun and in constant battle so there is no collecting cards, mining, farming or building relationships. It’s all battle and trying different configurations of war defenses to repel the enemy. I want to play DZ4!

It’s near impossible to get a perfect score even on easy mode without having to buy coins. Great layout, great game but they’re clever with this so beware.

Your game is an insult to the people who play it, especially to those that spend money on it in support of your success. It’s plain to see you have created the mid to late levels with a difficulty requiring purchases in order to complete. The defenses are no longer powerful enough on their on, and often it is absolutely impossible to upgrade your towers in enough time to be useful. Shorten the upgrade times and maybe some fairness can be introduced into this game. In its current state, I refuse to spend any more money on it, let alone play it anymore at all. Even after I purchased several thousands worth of in game currency, putting myself well ahead of what would have been earned in regular gameplay, my towers were no match for the overly difficult level. This of course means that my money was completely wasted while you profited. There’s no excuse for this kind of practice.
