MOVING IN SYNCH

Working out to music positively influences your mood and emotions, reduces the exhaustion you feel and raises the levels of endurance, power and strength. Research shows that these effects are stronger when your physical activity and music are in sync. Up till now though, moving in sync meant adapting your activity to the music, or putting a lot of effort in selecting matching music. MusicFit revolutionizes the approach – the music adapts to your movements.

MAKING IT UP AS YOU GO ALONG

MusicFit generates music on the spot. You don't need to be online or download playlists to use it. The music you hear is composed and performed by your phone while you are working out, completely “in the moment”. MusicFit tracks your body movements (through the iPhone's sensors) and responds instantly to every change of pace.

FEATURES

*Genres MusicFit generates music in 4 different genres (the option mix alternates between the 4 genres).

Controls: -techno: sets the genre to techno -electro: sets the genre to electro -idm: sets the genre to idm -chill: sets the genre to chill -mix: sets the genre to vary

You can change the genre of the music while it is playing by returning to the genre page (back button) and changing your selection.

*Following mode In this mode, MusicFit tracks your movements, the music follows you.

Controls: -change pattern at any point in time you can ask MusicFit to start composing a different song -change sensitivity unveils a slider for setting the speed with which the music reacts to changes in your movements

*Guiding mode In this mode, MusicFit tracks a training schedule, the music follows the intervals you set.

Controls: -setting the number of time intervals in your schedule, using the + (and -) buttons -setting the length of the time intervals in the schedule, using the seconds button -setting the required music tempo (in steps per minute) for each of the intervals, using the sliders
