If you need to take notes of a lecture or any other audio this is a good way to do it, and you can go back and listen to your recorded audio play back and continue to improve your notes. This trial version is limited to 4 notes. All other features seem to be the same as the paid version. They don't say this is a trial version anywhere until you have played with it & made a 4th note. It would be very helpful if the Welcome document that opens when you open the app for the first time, stated that this is a trial version and what the rules are so that you would know right away and not be surprised. Anyway you can do whatever you want with up to four notes and if that's enough then this is all you need! :-) Ok, with that behind us this does seem like a pretty cool app. Very simple, it is an audio recorder and it is a simple word processor. I don't see any other major features except that you can rename and share your files, either via email, or as a zip file that you can open in any other app or save to dropbox as zip file (which Dropbox can't preview/edit). I had a unreasonable expectation that during playback it might underscore whatever you typed at the same time as the audio was recorded. But it doesn't do that, and that is probably unreasonable to expect. That said, even for being fairly simple it seems clean, uncluttered, and it works. So you might like it. And you might want to buy the paid version. At least there is a way to find out if you like it, with this free trial version.
