User Reviews

Reviews praise Fate/Grand Order’s rich, lore-forward story and memorable characters, plus solid turn-based combat and solid free-to-play viability. However, the game’s pay-to-win feel due to harsh gacha rates and a punishing pity system, slow event cadence with grindy cycles and low rewards, stamina gating with no auto-battle, and overall heavy monetization detract from the experience. The consensus is: excellent narrative and cast, but progression pace and value are hampered by monetization and grind.
Pros
  • Strong, engaging story with high-stakes narrative.
  • Compelling, well-designed characters and personalities.
  • Long-term value and durability of units; minimal power creep; meaningful free pulls.
  • Solid combat mechanics and enjoyable battles with a great soundtrack.
  • F2P-friendly with meaningful content and accessible enjoyment of the main story.
Cons
  • Gacha rates are very harsh with a punishing pity system; heavy spending often required.
  • Event cadence is slow and grindy, with long, repetitive events and low drop rewards.
  • Stamina gating and lack of auto-battle slow gameplay, forcing grinding in short bursts.
  • Monetization is perceived as a money grab; pay-to-progress feel and poor value relative to costs.

Despite the provided images on the App Store, this game is NOT playable in portrait orientation. Additionally, you’re locked into the tutorial steps of only being able to tap exactly where the game lights up for 30-45 minutes depending on how fast you can read. The actual battle system seems mostly fine from the tutorial fights, but won’t be sticking with this to find out passed that.

There is a very low chance of getting a five star character u want I did 72 pulls and no five star characters it seems that the chances u will get for a five star is the essence cards I got 7 of em out of that 72 with the rest being mostly 3 stars and some 4 stars. Watch what u pull because u will either be lucky or waste your time.
