User Reviews

User reviews suggest SPECTO Bowling offers useful in-alley data and insights, and a visually appealing feature set, but suffers from stability and accuracy problems. Several users report unreliable tracking, inconsistent readings, and platform-wide bugs across iPhone and Android. Data review and session management outside the lane is also problematic, limiting the app’s usefulness for long-term coaching. Improvements to reliability, cross-platform performance, and data accessibility are needed for broad adoption.

Pros

Great tool for collecting data in the bowling alley.
Helps you work on different aspects of your game with insights.
App design and advanced features (CATS) look promising.

Cons

Unreliable tracking and inaccurate metrics (misses balls, wrong speed/revs).
Buggy/unstable across devices with cross-device compatibility issues (not working on iPhone/Android; annoying to use).
Difficult to review or manage data outside the lane (saving sessions and My Sessions access are problematic).

Recent reviews

This is a great tool when you are in the bowling alley trying to get all of your data. However, when you’re out of the bowling alley, there is no way to review your data, compare, and find out what to work on.
