User Reviews

Reviewers praise Life is Strange for its gripping story and emotional character moments, with many returning to replay. Yet a common thread is mobile instability: UI elements and journal screens frequently don’t fit smaller screens on iOS, making exits and taps unresponsive and sometimes forcing app restarts. iPhone/iPad size/ratio issues compound accessibility. Localization requests (Arabic, Turkish) also recur. Overall, fans love the narrative but want fixes for mobile usability and language options.
Pros
  • Engaging narrative with memorable characters (Max and Chloe) that many players feel emotionally connected to.
  • Rich interactive world with items that reveal unique stories tied to Max.
  • Overall enjoyment and strong fan love; players repeatedly come back to the game.
Cons
  • Mobile UI/UX issues on iOS cause inability to exit journal/notebook and access menus; screens are often off-screen or unresponsive, sometimes requiring restarting the app.
  • iPhone/iPad compatibility and screen-size/ratio problems across models, making playability inconsistent.
  • Localization requests (Arabic subtitles and Turkish translation) indicate missing language options that many players want.

The game is super fun I love this game it’s just the only issue is when you go onto the Journal you can’t really press the back button or the button to leave and I would really like to play this game on my phone hopefully it can be fixed I really enjoy this game

I’ve played before on Xbox and loved it. I was excited to relive the game on my phone. Unfortunately it’s unplayable since it doesn’t adjust to fit your phone screen size. The controls are cut off, making it impossible to do things like exit the journal/phone. Seems this has been an ongoing issue for quite some time, so I imagine they have no plans to fix it.
