You can upload images, documents, and more, then invite others to collaborate. On tablets you can draw with an Apple Pencil, convert pencil or stylus drawings into shapes, set up your tablet as a second screen with Zoom or Teams, create mind maps to visualize ideas, and use tools like Lasso and Highlighter to highlight important details. User Reviews

Users view Miro as a powerful, collaborative workspace with an infinite canvas, ideal for planning and sharing ideas. However, they repeatedly report instability and performance problems on iPad, missing desktop features, a difficult UI, and authentication/invite issues. The app’s value shines when it runs smoothly, but reliability and parity with the desktop experience need significant improvement.
Pros
  • Strong collaboration and team sharing capabilities.
  • Infinite canvas supports brainstorming and idea organization.
  • Versatile for planning, whiteboarding, and presenting visually.
  • Generally positive sentiment about the app's utility for work (used for planning, diagrams, and idea sharing).
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and loading failures on iPad, including startup crashes and boards not loading.
  • Performance issues on large boards, with lag and overheating.
  • Missing key features and parity with the desktop version (board navigation tabs, window selection with dropdown, copy/paste, dark mode, layers).
  • Cumbersome UI/UX and poor discoverability (too many taps, keyboard popups, hard-to-find features).
  • SSO/login and team invite issues (invites not showing, SSO not functioning, login getting stuck).

I couldn’t even get into the **** app because it was so hard to make an account. I downloaded the app and it wouldn’t let me make my account on the app. It kept redirecting me to Google it didn’t even have an option to make an account in the app. I had to go to the Google website make my account and then when I went into the app to sign in, it told me to enter a password that wasn’t even created when I created my account so then it redirected me to another Google website to reset my password that never existed in the first place and the website didn’t even work

The app kept crashing. The AI would create things, but never actually produced them. Unuseful.

I purchased the most powerful iPad 12” pro to be able to deal with our Miro boards. The app still crashes due to memory issues. Cannot believe they could not improve this. I often have to open the pages via safari or Chrome on the iPad in order to have them work.
