User Reviews

Overall, users love the app’s simple, clean design and its calendar-based daily notes, which make journaling, tracking meals or hours, and searching past entries easy. The ability to view notes by date and across time, plus support for multiple notebooks, is repeatedly cited as a key strength. However, repeated complaints center on the free version’s intrusive ads, limited writing features (no bold/italic/bullets, no auto-save), missing iPad support and cross-device syncing, and occasional reliability issues (cursor problems, swipes, and occasional crashes or launch failures). Some users still find value in the premium package despite these drawbacks.

Pros

Simple, clean, distraction-free design that makes journaling easy.
Calendar-based daily notes with easy navigation and date-based search.
Flexible with multiple notebooks/calendars for different use cases.
Easy to use for a wide range of needs (meals, hours, moods, gratitude, etc.).
Offers calendar and aggregate views to see notes by date and over time.

Cons

Intrusive ads in the free version that disrupt usage and can be hard to close.
Limited writing features (no bold/italic/bullets) and no auto-save.
No iPad version and no cross-device syncing.
Occasional navigation/editing bugs (cursor placement issues, day-swiping problems).
Stability issues on some devices or with certain purchases (app may not launch or premium may fail).
