2025-08-18 Ni***** I stumbled upon Brian’s music through Spotify’s algorithm. Christ had reawaken my soul through a set of circumstances and the hearing Brian’s rendition of Psalms just further ignited my soul. It was only after several months of having his music as my gym playlist that I took the time to read that he was the pastor of a church in Utah. That realization led me to download this app and listen to his sermons on Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians. It’s such a well researched and deep series on Paul and his effort with the Church at Corinth. If you are struggling in today’s sexually sinful environment, then listen to this series, you’ll understand God’s plan for how to survive and thrive in this environment. I’ve been to many different churches growing up and then joining the military I experienced even more. I’ve heard most denominations and I’ve experienced most types of pastors. I think they are all generally trying to preach the word of the Lord our God as they best understand it. Some I think are just preaching their own views and using God’s word to justify that view, but this is to be expected in this world. This church however is different, it is alive. When I listen to the sermon and I hear the word of God explained in context and contemporaneously it helps me feel as if I’m there, reading God’s word directly from the source. I understand that the team here are just messengers of our lord, and but vessels for the Holy Spirt to emanate from but I’m grateful that they have taken up this effort. My biggest regret is not living close enough to be a member of this church community. I will be visiting in a few months and I’m eager to see this delivered in person. Thank you for all your efforts and great work!!!

2025-04-06 Pa***** My elder team and I have found issues with this church. They do not list any theological background and have very little info about each Pastor's past. Brian and Eric's social media presents a completely different side of them from racist comments, derogatory comments about Jews, calling out Jesus for saying "Love your enemies," contradictory statements from their website to what they tweet or put on Facebook, arrogance calling themselves kings or referring to white boy summer, which is beneath the proper conduct of a minister of God's Word, instead of bringing people to the Gospel they repel people literally making fun of God's children on social media and we must pray for these men. Make sure you check their social media very thoroughly before attending anything with this group at Refuge Church. I see many Pastors are now calling them out on Twitter and Facebook.

2017-01-02 To***** Not Bible-based, rather, Bible-anchored! Pulled straight from God's sufficient word, each sermon is gospel-centered, life-applicable, and simply enjoyable to hear. Whether it's walking through the depression of Psalm 88, the creation of the universe, or the revelation of Jesus in John's gospel, every sermon points to Jesus as our true and only hope—our everlasting satisfaction. If you're looking for sermons that are Biblical, honest, Christ-exalting, this is for you.
