User Reviews

Players praise the game for its long, detailed puzzles and satisfying challenges, with helpful hints and autosave. However, frequent complaints center on clunky 3D controls, fiddly inventory interactions, stability glitches and odd progression, intrusive ads, and visibility issues on phones. Overall, it’s strong for puzzle fans who can overlook technical quirks and navigation friction.
Pros
  • Long, detailed, multi-room puzzles with substantial length
  • Clever, challenging, and rewarding puzzles with solid progression
  • Built-in hints and walkthrough resources, plus autosave for progress
  • Well-thought-out design and atmosphere with strong overall puzzle flow
Cons
  • 3D navigation and controls are clunky or dizzying, with small clickable areas
  • Inventory/puzzle interaction can be fiddly (e.g., cannot use items while zoomed)
  • Stability and progression issues (freezes, glitches, odd stage jumps)
  • Ads can be intrusive and interrupt gameplay
  • Hidden interactions and small touch targets on phones make some puzzles hard to see or execute

I enjoyed the length of this game and how detailed it was, moving from one part of the house to the next and back again. It made you really have to think back to where you saw the need to use a tool you just found. I did not like that there were no hints available. I did not like that it showed the option to take a picture, but when selected it was actually just the option to share the app with someone (pulled up the iPhone share menu with list of contacts to text or email). I didn’t agree with the numbers in the shower that represented the number of folded towels on the shelves in the bathroom . When I zoom in on a screen shot, it is clear to me that there are five towels, not four. When I went to unscrew the seaside picture, it turned black and wouldn’t let me do anything more, until I restarted the app. I thought that the ux was not great and that they made the “clickable” areas too small. For example, I clicked on the wand for the window blinds in the bathroom several times and it wouldn’t let me take it. It’s just a little too particular to make the game be about the puzzle of putting the clues together, rather than making sure you click in every square millimeter of each image. I thought the puzzles were rewarding, not too ridiculous, although not exceptionally unique. Thank you for another game! I’m looking forward to starting the next after I finish this review!

The overall puzzle is great, but the 3D version is fussier to control and less charming in its decor.
