User Reviews

Logic Dots 2 is praised for its relaxing, brain-teasing concept, simple controls, and clean visuals with pleasant music. Players like the option to play ad-supported or pay for an ad-free, content-rich experience. Key drawbacks are long ads, a limited level catalog with slow expansion, monetization frustrations around unlocks, and a perception that puzzles are not consistently challenging.
Pros
  • Relaxing and mentally stimulating; a good brain workout for logic puzzle fans.
  • Novel puzzle concept (Battleship/Sudoku hybrid) with simple, intuitive controls.
  • Minimalist visuals with pleasant background music.
  • Flexible monetization: free with ads or a small one-time fee for ad-free play and extra content.
  • Easy-to-use mechanics (tap, erase, move) with helpful features that speed up solving (e.g., gray-out option).
Cons
  • Ads are long/ intrusive, interrupt gameplay (e.g., 30-second ads).
  • Content is limited: only a small number of levels; players finish early and wait for new packs.
  • Monetization can feel like pay-to-unlock or pay-to-remove content, leading to frustration.
  • Some players find the puzzles too easy and lacking long-term challenge.

Ymmv. Personally, I tried out about 20 levels, most of them in the “hard” set, and I realized I was still waiting for the game to get interesting. The background music is nice, the type of puzzle is new, it’s aesthetically pleasing, as far as I can tell it’s not buggy or anything. And I appreciate the payment model — free with ads, or pay a small one-time fee for extra content and no ads. It’s just that it never took me more than a couple seconds to figure out how to solve each level, once I understood the rules. And because each puzzle is so small, it’s not even useful for just zoning out and playing a while. It’s a couple seconds of play, a couple seconds of win screen, repeat. If the same company makes an app with a different type of puzzle that’s more challenging, I’d be willing to give it a try.
