I work in consumer fragrance and this app is currently the most efficient source on the market for finding out when a product was made. A couple tweaks I would like to see: 1) having a keyboard in app that displays numbers and letters on the same keyboard set would drastically speed up the process when having to process large batches of product! 2) a camera scanner for batch codes would be bizarrely helpful—not sure if that’s possible but it would be amazing if it were!! Great app!! I use this nearly every day.

I love this app. I was able to clear out my medicine cabinet full of hair products because they were all expired. I never would have been able to know that if it wasn’t for this app that tells you what was expired based on the batch code numbers that you see on the bottom of the bottle. I know everyone thinks that it’s cost-effective to finish a product until it’s done even past the expiration date, but you don’t realize that the product starts to change when it is expired. When my dry shampoo started to smell it was over powering and embarrassing to use because the smell was that bad. I had no idea that the dry shampoo was expired. In reality, if you have several products passed its expiration date and you’re up in the air to toss them out you’re probably not going to need to replace all the products that you’re getting rid of. Think about it if you loved the product it never would have reached its expiration date.
