They use fake emails to attract new customers by pretending as prospect who was interested in your room but recommends this app since he/she found something else.

I get nothing but phony responses from people trying to steer me to this app and service. Dishonest from the very beginning. I don’t care to give these people my personal information. They then pass this on to realtors who bury me in emails trying to sell my home. Gestures to these morons. What I want is serious renters to view my place not a bunch of phony responses. Vigorous hand gestures to these people.

So basically I was trying to desperately find somebody to sub lease my apartment. I post ads on Craigslist and another site. I got a reply within 24 hours telling they are interested and were in a hurry. Then poof, the person goes dark, comes back in a few days and says she found something else, and then recommended this app to me. I sign up and post an ad and everything. I then get another email from the same person telling she passed on my info to a friend who might be interested. I get another email with almost the same text from a different person and turns out she recommended the same app to me again. I checked the urls in the email and all of them custom referral links. Basically, I think employees are just creating fake emails and getting in touch with people who are in real need of similar services and scam them into signing up for their service. The reviews here also look fake with the same marketing spiel on all the five star reviews. Also notice how reviews / ratings are either 1 star or 5 stars. Classic signs of a scam! If they have to resort to such tactics, it only gives me an indicator how their actual business must be doing. I was about to pay for premium services. Thank god I did not! PLEASE STAY AWAY! AND TELL as many people as possible about this new age pyramid scheme. EDIT: seems like the developer responded with the same message again with no insight into why there are fake profiles that message people on other platforms. This has to be the most sorry state of a business I have ever seen.
