NT Hunting Mate

NT Hunting Mate Waterfowl hunting application for the NT Top End. This NT Government smartphone application helps hunters check when, where and how they can legally hunt waterfowl in the NT Top End. The free application features colour maps of all the hunting parks and reserves, waterfowl identification illustrations and information on permits, bag limits, season dates and permitted firearms and ammunition. You will also find lots of useful information on how to stay safe near our waterways and how to hunt in a safe and ethical way.

This app periodically checks location even whilst closed. This is to notify you of hunting areas, exclusion zone and no access areas. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
