However, it suffers from widespread stability and Bluetooth issues, inaccurate battery readouts, feature gaps and inconsistent updates, and usability complaints that undermine reliability for many users.

Pros

One-time Bluetooth setup that often pairs quickly and connects right away.
Clean, simple UI and easy-to-use interface when the app is functioning.
Remote control of BioLite devices (FirePit and Lantern XL) from the app for turning lights on/off and adjusting settings.
Stable Bluetooth connection across devices (works well even when other Bluetooth devices are connected, like a speaker).
Generally handy and convenient for basic control and presets when the app is working.

Cons

Frequent crashes on launch and during use, with many users reporting the app crashes before it opens.
Bluetooth pairing/detection issues requiring constant re-pairing and unreliable proximity sensors.
Battery life indicator is inaccurate or lags behind the actual charge.
Missing promised features and long periods without updates; BPM feature removed or not implemented; alarms/timers often don’t work.

The Bluetooth never connects to the battery pack and the battery pack never turns off. You can not turn the fan on. Bio lite does not have good products
