University Federal Credit Union’s mission is to serve the financial needs of our members by being strong and secure. Since 1937 University Federal Credit Union has grown to meet the needs of our members by providing quality, not-for-profit financial services at reasonable rates. Once you buy one $25 share of the credit union you become a member and a shareholder. Through the volunteer Board of Directors, elected by the membership, members have a voice in the operation of the credit union.

Who can become a member? UND faculty, Staff, and Students, Immediate family of members, Organizations of members, Employees of the ND School for the Blind who work in Grand Forks, civilian and military employees of the US government and employees of the State of ND who work on UND’s campus.
