Convert a video to GIF, trim the clip, and keep only the frames you want for a smaller, cleaner result. Long-press any frame in the filmstrip to delete the one that breaks the flow. Adjust per-frame timing when one photo needs to stay longer than the rest. Pick a master frame rate preset for a smoother look or a more punchy animated GIF style. Choose loop modes like Forever, Once, 3x, or 5x depending on how you want it to replay. Set the canvas to 1:1, 9:16, 4:5, or 16:9 before you export. Tap Cutout to lift the subject from the background, then place it over a solid color, a blurred original, a gradient preset, or your own photo. Apply one of 12 filters such as Mono, Vintage, Cinema, Cyber, Warm, or Soft to a single frame or all frames at once. Add music from the built-in library with moods like Chill, Hype, Romantic, Comedy, and Cinematic. Export as a GIF or as a video, then share to Messages, chat apps, stories, Mail, AirDrop, copy it, or save it to Photos. Use the home screen widget to jump back into your latest GIF project or start a new one faster. Open quick actions to start a new photo GIF, convert a video to GIF, or reopen your latest project.
