Ouk Chaktrang

Ouk Chaktrang is Cambodia’s traditional two-team chess variant. The name Ouk mimics the sound of pieces against the board when checking, while Chaktrang derives from Chaturanga. The social setting of barbershops and cafes makes it a lively community pastime.
