User Reviews

Reviews praise The 3Games for its engaging, character-driven story and the setup of five playable characters with multiple POVs, plus a Hunger Games–like vibe that fosters strong emotional attachment. However, critics note limited meaningful choices and short endings with minimal gameplay, frequent character-switching that can be confusing, writing quality inconsistencies, and a less-polished app UI. Overall, highly engaging but with pacing, design, and depth drawbacks.
Pros
  • Engaging plot with a rich, character-driven story that players quickly become attached to.
  • Five playable characters with multiple POVs create varied perspectives and deep relationships.
  • Strong character development and emotional investment; fits fans of Hunger Games/divergent vibes.
  • Long, immersive playtime with good replay potential for a choice-based experience.
Cons
  • Few meaningful choices and short endings limit payoff for a choice-based game.
  • Frequent switching between characters can feel confusing and reduces perceived gameplay depth.
  • Grammatical errors and, for some, a gratuitous or heavy-handed attempt at inclusivity/diversity.
  • Poor app skin/UI design detracts from readability and overall experience.

Going into the story I wasn’t sure what to expect. However after pouring hours (I literally would lose track of time) into this I’m glad that I picked it up! Not only is the overall plot engaging but I loved all the characters! (Expect Lucia) I highly recommend for those who are big ‘Hunger Games’ (as this has that vibe) to give it a try! I was hooked from the first chapter. I hope there is a sequel released somewhere in the near future.

This story is somewhat engaging, but there are a few too many things that made me feel that the author is trying too hard to be relatable and progressive. The broad spectrum of characters’ identities wasn’t bad, it just felt like it didn’t add anything to the story—very gratuitous. From the abundance selfies the characters are way too fond of (which is very “fellow kids”) to the too-frequent grammatical errors, I think this story misses the mark a bit. Unfortunately, I realized this after I bought the full version.
