Chess Endgame Studies

Chess Endgame Studies is a Chess King Learn course featuring about 950 endgame compositions and 900 subsidiary exercises. Drawn from the CT-ART 4.0 lineage, it presents the most instructive endgame positions with a 5x5 hint that conveys the core tactical idea behind the main example. This course is part of the Chess King Learn series, which combines tactics, strategy, openings, middle game, and endgame into a progressive, level-based training path.

The app functions as a personal coach: it assigns tasks, offers hints and explanations, shows refutations of common mistakes, and allows you to practice against the computer. It tracks your rating progress (ELO), supports a test mode, bookmarks, and offline use, and is optimized for larger screens on tablets. A free portion lets you test topics such as Attacking the King, Stalemate, Pawn Promotion, and a gallery of chess composers before moving on to more advanced material.
