I can’t praise this game enough. I’ve played a lot of mobile games but this is one of the very few I was not only willing to buy in its entirety but has stuck around on my phone through every purge for years. No Ads, no money grabs, just beautiful and enjoyable game play. The art and npcs are full of character. And every replay is a new experience because of the randomization. Even after I’ve played the game thousands of times, I keep coming back because it’s satisfying but not in a mindless way like many other mobile games. And if you get bored of one game play mode there’s always the daily challenge you can compete for a leaderboard spot on, or go full completionist and try and make every type of potion. The game truly feels like it could be a PC game in terms of quality.

Gameplay is super fun and art is great - but the game is very lacking in a feeling of advancement or purpose. Simply surviving a round is very easy, and really the only point is making achievement which provide no benefit. There needs to be a map to advance or some way to unlock something as a reward for beating a level or achieving a goal - and also the goals themselves seem like random things that are a pain to do and not even challenging when the main goal should be maximizing overall points in a round.
