User Reviews

Users broadly praise the app for quick access to unit docs, warranty status, and model/serial lookups, and for NFC features that can save time. However, repeated connectivity problems to boards, NFC/barcode scanning failures, and frequent crashes severely hinder use in the field. Data availability is inconsistent, with missing service/install documents or parts data for older units. Account creation and login issues, plus overall sluggish performance, compound frustrations. The app shows potential and some teams find it useful when functioning, but reliability and data access must be improved to meet technician needs.
Pros
  • Access to unit documents, warranty status, and data for connected systems.
  • Easy lookup of model numbers/serials and warranty status.
  • NFC features save time in the field.
  • Partner login unlocks full functionality.
  • Tech literature and data are easier to access than older systems.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes on startup or when opening the app.
  • Connectivity issues connecting to control boards, NFC, and barcodes.
  • Missing parts data and service/install documents for some units.
  • Account creation and login issues, including cross-brand sign-in confusion.
  • Overall slowness and performance problems.

I spent 2 hours trying to replace a control board and trying to connect to the new board. Whenever I would “tap” to connect it would say an error has occurred. Then I manually put in whatever I needed and I would “tap” to connect to the new board and it would say an error has occurred. Why would you have to program a new board with an app when in the past companies would just use dip switches? I had to leave the customers house with no heat because this app would not connect to the old or new board.

Everytime I have to use this app even if it’s 4 times a week I have to update it and put my password back in. Yet nothing ever works better. The NFC tag can take 20 tries to work on a furnace. The barcode scanner on a furnace won’t bring anything up. Manually entering model numbers won’t do it. It’s just a constant fight, then after you get it to work it’ll just say they don’t have any parts data on that 5 year old carrier. Unacceptable.

Tried countless devices with countless control boards and it never connects. Even tech support doesn’t know how it works
