The F45 Training app succeeds at core booking and wellness content, but multiple stability and data issues hinder experience. Users frequently encounter freezes, unreliable attendance tracking, and broken Lionheart/Passport features, along with billing transparency gaps and calendar permission frustrations.

Pros

Easy and fast booking and session management.
Rich feature set for wellness, including progress tracking (Lionheart and performance data), nutrition resources, and passport workouts.
Travel-friendly: book in different cities and track workouts on the go.
Rewards program is a nice perk.

Cons

Frequent freezing/crashing, especially during booking or when multitasking.
Attendance/credit tracking is unreliable—class counts can reset or not register.
Lionheart and Passport features frequently malfunction after updates (sync issues, UI not showing).
Billing and confirmations lack transparency—no clear confirmations and occasional unexpected charges.
Calendar integration can require full access and doesn't work with restricted permissions.

Recent reviews

The app works well enough, but it doesn’t support ApplePay. If you’re paying per class or buying a pack of 10 classes, you have to reenter your credit card info every time. It feels a bit backwards considering how standard ApplePay is.

Some issues that would be helpful if fixed; you cant export your complete lionheart data only singular session data. And Lionheart only pulls from apple health but doesnt write back to it. For the dev’s who run this app its an easy fix and would greatly improve its functionality overall.
