Plague Inc: Scenario Creator offers strong creative control and a range of virus types, and is easy to pick up. However, it is frequently plagued by export/publish errors, testing crashes, and persistent stability issues. The app hasn’t seen meaningful updates for years, leaving many users unable to test, publish, or even run their scenarios. If these bugs and maintenance gaps are addressed, it could realize its potential as a powerful design tool.

Export/publish/test failures prevent using scenarios (errors when exporting to Plague Inc, cannot publish or test)

Recent reviews

I can’t seem to test the plague scenario I created/am working on. User experience is terrible for this. All of this should be just in one app, I’m sort of ok with it being an extra purchase for the creator but why do I have to export to another app to simply test if it works before publishing??? This makes no sense. Tried both and I can’t find it in the main Plague Inc app under custom scenarios nor does any of the options in this app seem to actually work. Tapping “Test” should just launch the game like in the normal main version of this game. Like obviously. 1/5 stars is well deserved because it feels like you didn’t actually use this app to see how it behaves for the end user and it shouldn’t be a standalone app but instead an upgrade in the main app
