User Reviews

The Igbo Bible app is praised for its strong Igbo translation and overall quality, and it helps users read and practice Igbo. The dominant downside across many reviews is audio functionality: paid audio often does not work, sometimes after upgrade; several users seek refunds and accuse false advertising, with reports of slow or failed audio downloads.
Pros
  • Excellent, understandable Igbo translation.
  • Regarded as one of the best Igbo Bible apps; well made.
  • Helps users read and practice Igbo.
Cons
  • Audio playback is non-functional or unreliable after purchase/upgrade.
  • Users report being charged for audio that does not work and are requesting refunds; concerns about false advertising.
  • Audio downloads are slow or fail to download/initialize even when attempted.

Your numbering differs markedly from Google Translate unlike any other word because you avoid using ‘Puku’ for ‘thousand’ and Nari for ‘hundred’ in translating numbers. Thus making it almost a kindergarten level word translation that requires a pencil and paper to add up the numbers, in order to make sense of your translation. In an Arithmetic exercise, perhaps? Definitely not in Bible Passages or any other reading passage. Therefore, I suggest you use the Puku and Nari. Why are you trying to circle the wagon or fix what’s not broken as the Saying goes. Otherwise a great App, keep up your good work. Thank you!
