This App, which operates without an internet connection, helps find and identify plants. When you give the App information about a plant, such as its location, flower color and the time of year, the App will quickly show you which plants match your selections.

The App includes 2,806 species of plants found in Ohio. Overall, 1,402 are "Wildflowers", 245 are shrubs, 208 are broadleaf trees, 25 are conifers, 63 are vines, 408 are grass-like, 79 are fern-like, 281 are moss-like and 199 are lichen.

I love this app, but it has some issues. 1. You should be able to insert a photo of your wildflower to get close matches if you don’t know what it is. 2. Make the print bigger 3. Label areas where a certain thing has been seen more clearly. 4. On the criteria thing, with the map, it won’t let me select my location to narrow results down. If you can fix any of these, please do.

Easier than carrying a book. I have my phone with me anyway, so I used this app on a hike to identify wildflowers. It was easy to use and gave accurate results. I appreciate that it’s specific to my Ohio home.
