Overall, users praise Accent Training as a strong tool for English pronunciation and practice, especially for its native-speaker content and recording feature. However, recurring issues include lack of feedback, intrusive ads, and insufficient accent variety, which detract from the learning experience.
Pros
  • Useful for practicing English pronunciation and overall language learning.
  • Includes native-speaker dialogues and pronunciation examples.
  • Allows recording your own voice and comparing it to the original.
  • Offers long-form reading practice with sentences and passages.
Cons
  • Lack of feedback or progress tracking makes it hard to measure improvement.
  • Intrusive ads and pop-ups disrupt usage and sometimes require restarting the app.
  • Limited variety of accents; users want more diverse accents and pronunciation models.

It’s only one accent if you added more accents I would give this 4 stars Tell me if I can fix it
by De*****, 2026-06-06

I’m giving this app 2 stars because some of the pronunciation examples are incorrect and misleading for learners. For example, in Unit 2 “Word Connections,” the written explanation is teaching users to connect words naturally in spoken English. However, the example audio does the opposite — the speaker intentionally separates the words instead of linking them together. This directly contradicts the lesson content and can mislead learners who are trying to improve their word connections skills. I hope the developers can fix these incorrect demo audios as soon as possible.
