This App, which operates without an internet connection, helps find and identify plants. When you give the App information about a plant, such as its location, flower color and the time of year, the App will quickly show you which plants match your selections.

The App includes 3,772 species of plants found in North Carolina. Overall, 1,823 are "Wildflowers", 346 are shrubs, 271 are broadleaf trees, 35 are conifers, 92 are vines, 4 are cactus, 540 are grass-like, 96 are fern-like, 357 are moss-like, 41 are seaweed and 343 are lichen.

These apps are a great resource to get reliable photos and geographic data on plants, invaluable in the field in areas out of service.

This app makes it incredibly easy to identify wildflowers in the field. I've used it to identify dozens of wildflowers all over NC (and some other places as well). The options to narrow down the search are perfect. All my books get left behind now. Thank you for creating this app, it's fantastic!
