This App helps find and identify plants. When you give the App information about a plant, such as its location, flower color and the time of year, the App will quickly show you which plants match your selections.

The App includes 3,788 species of plants found in West Texas. Overall, 2,270 are "Wildflowers", 425 are shrubs, 224 are broadleaf trees, 34 are conifers, 103 are vines, 63 are cactus, 527 are grass-like, 84 are fern-like, 113 are moss-like, and 179 are lichen.

I LOVE this app! Super user-friendly and easy to use. It gives you all the information on wildflowers- where they’re geographically found, shape, size, features, etc. You can filter the flowers by color, petal numbers, size, etc. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! You can also identify trees, shrubs, mosses, and CACTI! It says “wildflowers” in the name of the app, but it has ALL flora in the database! We were able to identify lots of cacti in Big Bend NP using this app, as well as trees and wildflowers. We have this app downloaded for multiple other states too. It’s wonderful! Can’t say enough about this app!
