User Reviews

ActiveParent for Apple shows widespread complaints about stability and usability. Frequent crashes, blue-screen errors, and log-in failures are common. The app redirects to the mobile site rather than a native experience, with slow loads and very small fonts. Users report login/account issues, including missing password reset and removal of features like Face ID. The update is viewed negatively, with district selection adding confusion. Overall, users want a responsive, iPhone-native experience with easier access to grades and schedules.
Pros
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and blank blue screen; users can’t log in or stay logged in.
  • App redirects to the mobile website instead of a native app experience; slow load times and poor mobile usability.
  • Login and account problems: no reliable password reset, risk of being locked out, removal of convenient features like Face ID/remember-me.
  • Poor UI and accessibility: tiny fonts, hard-to-see text, and overall time-consuming navigation to view grades.
  • Update introduced confusion: multiple districts shown and inability to use features that previously worked; app feels like a wrapper of the site rather than a native app.

Why can’t i change pick up and aim call information. After registration all the phone numbers got jumbled together and the wrong people are getting notifications. I went to log on and simply change everything back but now there is no edit option anymore.

This app could be so much better if it functioned as an app. Right now it is just another version of the website. It is basically a tiny website. They had so many opportunities to make it better and more user friendly. Unfortunately they were not thinking about their audience.
