Real Estate by Perchwell

Our board forced us to switch to Perchwell this year, 2026, and it was the worst decision. We were told it would be more customizable than Paragon but that’s not true. The CMA is so primitive and lacks the options to customize. For instance with Paragon you could pick from multiple covers for your CMA and customize it. You can’t do that with Perchwell. Also, you have to use whatever logo they already uploaded for your brokerage. You can’t change it and the one they have for my brokerage it an old one we don’t use anymore. Also, the search bar is bad. If you want to search for a specific property and type in “123 Anyplace Street” it will populate all listings with “Anyplace” in the name instead of narrowing it down to “123 Anyplace” like it should. This means you have to scroll down through numerous listings that don’t even match what you are looking for such as “222 Anyplace” 789 Anyplace” etc etc. You typed in “123 Anyplace” to narrow the search but the system doesn’t narrow the search which forces you to have to search through all the non-relevant listings. Also, Paragon was much better when it came to listing stats and being able to actually have stats and sending them to your clients. With Paragon you could see how clicks and views, agent views and other important stats regarding your listing to send to your client. With Perchwell is just shows “views” with a number but doesn’t give you a break down. And honestly, it seems like the stats are lower than what I would see in Paragon for a listing. Also, listings that I have closed on in the past are coming up as “Expired.” And then there is the app. An app is suppose to make things faster and easier but the Perchwell app makes it so much harder to search on the go. With Paragon, I primarily used the app to send out properties because it was so simple. A task like searching for properties takes a good amount of time and now this task has been even longer and more frustrating with the Perchwell app. The design and format is horrible. They added so many things we don’t use when searching for property which means we have to sort through it via scrolling to find what we are looking for. When you are on the go, as we often are as agents, you need an app that makes things simpler, easier, and more effective. This app does none of that. An app is used on a mobile device which means you have less screen space. The way they designed the app did not have this in mind. You can tell it was not designed with the input of agents. Paragon put the name of each category inside the search box of each category to save space. Plus, there is redundancy with some of the categories that are just not needed that take up space. I could go on and on but switching to Perchwell has made it harder as an agent not easier. If I could give zero stars I would.

The app does not work at all on my ipad. Clicking fields does absolutely nothing. Only way I can search an area is if I zoom in and look at everything. Cannot refine filters at all.
