Features & Capabilities

The Navisphere Carrier Chrome Extension from C.H. Robinson brings the Navisphere load board to your browser. Carriers can quickly find loads, book them, and submit stop and in-transit updates from anywhere, with on-device document uploads and automated status updates. Features include map and list views, customizable filters, and near-real-time visibility to thousands of loads daily, helping you manage operations more efficiently.

This extension is designed to improve cash flow, reduce visibility calls, and speed up payments by digitizing paperwork such as bills of lading (BOL) and load communications, all while aligning with the Navisphere platform.

User Reviews

Navisphere Carrier’s app is praised for being easy to use and for its load board/search capabilities, enabling quick load discovery. However, reviews consistently mention reliability and UX concerns: crashes after updates, instability, and features not persisting (saved searches, locations, trailer type). Users also report login friction and slow/document upload issues with BOLs. Many want a map feature and a return to the previous, more reliable version. Overall, the app is valuable for finding loads, but it needs stability and UX improvements.
Pros
  • Easy to use and navigate
  • Solid load board with efficient load searching
  • Useful for quickly finding loads and managing load opportunities
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and instability after updates
  • Searches and preferences (saved searches, last locations, trailer type) do not persist reliably
  • Login can require repeated authentication
  • Document upload is slow and limited (one at a time; glitches with BOLs)
  • Missing map feature and cumbersome UX compared to older versions

I used to be able to enable tracking without having an account, now whenever i get assigned a load it makes me sign into an account just to see the load/enable tracking. Even more annoying when you have your broker calling every couple minutes trying to get you to enable tracking when you’ve explained to them your issues with the app. Gonna keep this uninstalled til issues resolved.

It’s a good app. Only thing I would add is if you could see available loads where the carrier is dropping off and ratings of the shipper and receiver. Working with CHR is easy.
