It used to be when traveling, we’d pack so many books; and with Bhagavad-Gita As It is*, Be A Sage, Page by Page* and this most wonderful BhaktiBase App, it’s a great benediction and causeless divine mercy upon us all that these shastras or Vedic scriptures are available to us in English and now in such a convenient, accessible form! Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, while circling the globe 12 times to mercifully flood the entire world with Krsna Consciousness, tirelessly dictated the Srimad Bhagavatam and purports (available through ‘Be a Sage’) and he had earlier brought forth Bhagavad-Gita as it is in English with special emphasis of the commentaries of Srila Baladeva Vidyabhusana and the previous Acharyas, with his own pure devotional ecstasies woven into these purports. Another ray from the benediction moon & wave from the ocean of Krishna’s mercy was Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, who honored Srila Prabhupada’s request that he travel the world and nourish the seeds of Bhakti that he had planted in the hearts of Devotees everywhere. 19 years after Srila ACBS Prabhupada’s passing, Srila BV Narayana Maharaja did just that and rather miraculously brought forth many pre-existing Vaisnava literatures with their immaculately pure commentaries by pure Vaisnava Saints and Sages into the English language, including Srimad Bhagavad-Gita with special emphasis of the commentaries of Srila Vishvanath Chakravarti Thakura, Srila Thakura Bhaktivinoda and his own deeply astonishing and realized commentaries. Fortunate ‘servers’ of this BhaktBase app will be delighted to find an A to Z TREASURE CHEST of the teachings of BHAKTI-YOGA herein. NOTE: In the culture of studying Bhakti literature that dates back thousands of years, there is a special way to approach the subject.
